Engineering Technician

We currently seek a high caliber Engineering Technician for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Bakersfield, CA. This is a hybrid role: 3 days week in the office/ 2 days week from home.

The ideal candidate will be an Engineering Tech educated in and experienced working inside Microsoft Project (MSP) to understand ties to business.

Job Requirements:
• Need report writer:
o Tableau
o BO (Business Objects)
o Spend Plans
o Volumes – specifically drilling production volumes (goal to make one report through IT (drill pod volumes)
• Access database manager who can track the bullet points below in Access:
o LTDS (run with cost forecaster/historian)
o CER (tracking new well requests within Access)
o IRT backlog (Investment Recovery Team but the task is managing backlogs within Access)
o IRT “SALE” DS (Abandonment liability, need to decommission) – This is managing asset abandonment and decommissioning in Access
o Drilling – Tracking drilling program in Access
o Frac DB – Frac activities in Access

Qualifications:
• 3-10 years of exp. with heavy Data Management in MS Access Required
• HS diploma - OK; Bachelors degree in Engineering or someone right out of school is also OK
