Environmental Technician

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

Mechanical aptitude for working with electrical, mechanical systems performing routine operations, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems.

Ability to read gauges, record data using field tablets, use industrial environmental monitoring equipment like interface probes, gas analyzers, transducers water level indicators.

Experience with environmental site investigation field work to include soil sampling and groundwater sampling.

Understanding of personal protective equipment.

Clean driving record important.

Ability to work independently, outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions, typical of southeast US.

Safety conscious - OSHA-10 hr (General or Construction) is a plus; first aid, CPR, AED, and on site safety training will be provided if needed.

REQUIRED: 40-hr HAZWOPER Certification

Part time position, will be utilized as needed at various sites in FL (primarily in Orlando & Tallahassee) on an as needed basis (estimate twice per month).
