Excavator Operator

We are currently seeking Excavator Operators to work on site conducting Rail Maintenance work. Only candidates that have been inducted on BHP site will be considered.

The project is located in Western Australia's Pilbara region on a long term Shut Down. We have multiple vacancies available and we are seeking applicants with previous experience that can operate the plant safely around a busy network and follow instructions at all times.

Key responsibilities for this role are:

Assisting with track maintenance.
Upkeep of Rail infrastructure,
The safe operation and maintenance of mobile plant, equipment and company vehicles,
Use of power tools and hand tools,
A good knowledge of WH&S
Have the ability to follow company policies and procedures and instruction
Be keen, reliable and able to work well in a team environment.
Job Requirements

BHP Inducted,
Unrestricted Drivers Licence,
A current Excavator Ticket,
Previous experience in a similar role,
Tickets and experience in operating Excavators,
Hold a current White/Blue Card,
Be able to satisfy the requirements of a CAT 1 Rail Safety medical,
A drug and alcohol screen is also mandatory before starting and can be requested at any time whilst on site,
