TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Expediting Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Organize and prioritize multiple time‑sensitive tasks while maintaining a high level of detail, accuracy, and schedule awareness.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and project partners to promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier progress, lead issue resolution efforts, and maintain accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support safe work practices, ethical standards, and corporate sustainability principles while meeting travel and attendance expectations.
• Prepare and maintain project-specific expediting procedures, plans, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with company processes.
• Oversee all expediting activities from order placement through receipt, proactively identifying delays and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the expediting strategy and work plan for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with overall material management objectives.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in expediting, procurement, or materials management within project-driven environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading schedules, understanding procurement workflows, and interpreting technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and analyze issues to determine effective solutions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely information.
