Procurement Lead

Are you a seasoned procurement professional ready to take the lead on a major capital project? Our client is seeking an exceptional Project Procurement Lead (PPL) to drive strategic procurement delivery for a multibillion project.
This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing all sourcing, purchasing, and contract award activities—working closely with Engineering, Project Controls, Legal, and Commercial to deliver best‑in‑class procurement outcomes.

Work alongside an experienced EPCM team and key stakeholders
What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Project Buyers

Manage all RFQ activities, tendering, market engagement, and sourcing
-
Oversee commercial evaluations and contract award recommendations
-
Drive negotiations and coordinate legal, insurance, and risk requirements

Ensure compliant execution under EPCM and our client's governance frameworks
-
Oversee contract administration, variations, payments, and close-out
-
Provide accurate reporting and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Identify risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies
What You Bring

Significant EPC/EPCM procurement leadership experience

Strong background in formal RFQ processes and complex negotiations

Deep understanding of governance-controlled procurement environments

Proven success leading procurement teams on multi-package projects

Strong commercial acumen and outstanding stakeholder engagement skills
