Here is an exciting opportunity to join our drilling equipment client in Edmonton, AB as a Field Service Technician! You would be working within a growing team on various projects across Alberta. The successful candidate for this role will be demonstrating their knowledge and ability to safely handle drilling operations as well as properly install/uninstall, and maintain various heavy equipment/tools.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Company Safety, Health and Quality Policies are always followed. This includes partaking in required training, processes and procedures.
- Employ safe practices in utilizing hand tools and various manual methods of material handling as needed.
- Utilize mechanical and powered vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transport goods to different points in the facility.
- Verify that cranes, lifting equipment and forklifts are inspected and reported according to company standards on a daily basis.
- Be accountable for tasks like Frac Operations, Coil Operations, Wireline Operations, etc.
Basic Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of frac and/or wellhead experience.
- Valid class 5 license (can be insured commercially).
- Knowledge on Gate Valve or Repair experience
- Safety Oriented, First Aid, CSO certifications preferred
- Must meet the physical demands and requirements of the job on a regular basis. This role involves regularly lifting 50lbs, and may require work under severe weather conditions.
