â€¢Using experience and knowledge, advise on potential/options to accelerate the connection date for the offshore windfarm projects.
â€¢Primarily coordinate the commercial aspects of the National Grid connection and construction agreements and liaise with appropriate organisations in connection with the projects as required.
â€¢Co-ordinate, attend all relevant project meetings with National Grid and the Holistic Network Design (HND) project. Ensuring all project stakeholders are informed/engaged as required.
â€¢Drive the Connection and Infrastructure Options Note (CION) process on developers behalf to optimise and ensure a timely completion of the process.
â€¢Ensure the CION conclusion is firm/fixed/agreed and does not change as time elapses
â€¢Review and communicate project relevant grid reinforcement and construction options being considered by NGESO/NGET and ensure developer requirements and position are satisfactorily considered (internal feedback etc.).
â€¢Be the project representative to feed developer inputs into the CION process.
â€¢Liaise with project Senior Electrical Engineer to ensure co-ordination of the overall electrical design within project.
â€¢Reports to the projectâ€™s Engineering Manager and be mapped to the Offshore Electrical Engineering team within the Target Operating Model.
Optimise connection dates brought for the UK projects.
Advise on best ways to engage with National Grid and the Holistic Network Design (HND) project.
