The Head of Contracts Management role is a pivotal addition to the Operations leadership team responsible for scaling the business to deliver their vision and business plan. The development and management of their contracts with key customers and partners is essential to their success.
The role is primarily responsible for; (a) developing the company centre of excellence for contract development and management to support our safety, quality risk, delivery and commercial objectives and (b) supporting and mentoring the Project and Supply Chain teams with regards to innovative and best practice contract management standards. The Contract Manager has responsibility for contract management requirements across the full business lifecycle.
Your responsibilities as Head of Contract Management will include:
* Building company contract management capabilities and develop contract management function and team
* Develop contracting strategies
* Implement best practice processes and solutions - Pre and Post Contract
* Lead preparation of appropriate contract structures and terms
* Co-ordinate input from Legal Counsel, CFO and COO teams to assess contract risk and opportunities
* Proactive contribution to bid qualification and proposals
* Support P&L owners to manage commercial activities across all projects
* Functional participant in project reviews and company management forums
* Mentor the technical, project and business administration teams in best practice contract management
* Support QHSE lead to establish standards for QA/QC and HSE within company contracts
The requirements...
* International contracting experience (Asia specific desired)
* Project based experience - technology/construction/shipbuilding
* QSHE - Knowledge of current best practice requirements
* Board level working experience
* Risk Management - manage risk and opportunities across the full business cycle
* Commercial Management - project related business
* Professionally qualified or qualified through experience – IACCM
