Head of Offshore Wind

TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Offshore Wind, based in the UK.

The role will see you lead the development and deployment of the offshore wind engineering team.

As the Head of Offshore Wind, you will play a crucial part in shaping the strategic direction for the global offshore wind technical offering.

This role will focus on leading the offshore wind engineering consultancy team in the delivery of feasibility, concept design, FEED and owners ‘engineering for offshore wind farms

Experience

• Client relationship management
• Working closely alongside environmental, coastal processes and maritime ports
• Identifying opportunities, tendering, and winning work
• Leading project delivery & project management
• Team development
• Managing and mentoring staff
• Team recruitment from your network and talent development
• Proactive in leading teams in response to client needs
• Being creative with combinations of consultancy solutions
• Able to Develop a network within the company to be the ‘go-to’ for engineering
• Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Fluent in English – speaking and written)
• Sound commercial awareness
• Chartered Engineer
• Proven consultancy track record in offshore wind projects
