Overview
Our client is delivering major MEP packages on a major new construction development in Somerset — a flagship multi-billion-pound manufacturing facility.
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor/Manager to lead HSE compliance and cultural implementation across a large-scale, high-risk construction environment.
This role requires a proactive HSE professional with demonstrable experience on complex infrastructure, industrial, data center, or manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of project-specific Construction Phase Plan
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety tours.
- RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Temporary works procedures
- Lead incident investigations.
- Drive behavioural safety initiatives and positive reporting culture.
Required Experience
Proven HSE leadership on:
- Large industrial projects
- Data centres
- Manufacturing facilities
- Infrastructure projects
- High-risk activities (working at height, HV systems, lifting ops, confined space)
- Comfortable operating in fast-track programme environment.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
- NEBOSH Diploma (desirable)
