Here is an exciting opportunity to take part in a mega project in Windsor, Ontario as a Human Resources Supervisor. The qualified individual will be working on a major historical project alongside likeminded professionals! 
 
As a Project Human Resources Manager, you will be involved in making decisions in areas that may impact the organization and its employees, clients, budgets, policies, procedures, work practices, or compliance programs.
 
Job duties:
  • Oversee HR activities on the project and ensure that all are in accordance with human resources policies and in compliance with Federal and Provincial employment and labour laws, acceptable practices, and regulations.
  • Conduct compensation impact analysis as required, for various purposes including streamlining and organizational structure analysis, market data assessments and recommendations.
  • Perform full cycle recruitment and advise with clients on role requirements, development of role profiles, and job analysis
  • Support managers with performance management and objective setting during the regular cycle as well as when required. Effectively creating clear connections to Project plans.
  • Facilitate Talent Reviews for the project teams and ensure appropriate follow up on actions
  • Effective situation/ conflict management, working closely with managers to ensure employee relations issues are handled professionally and timely.
  • Identify potential employee relations issues, resolving as appropriate and elevating to legal and senior human resources management as needed.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, manuals, plans and supporting materials.
  • Support the roll-out of various company initiatives as required and alter if necessary
 
Qualifications
  • Post secondary education in Human Resources Management
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in a Human Resources Department, 5 of those being in a HR Generalist position
  • Versatility in HR portfolio is required, this includes full scope employee life cycle, compensation, recruitment, and talent management.
  • Strong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills
