The job:
As a member of the site management team, providing HSE advice and support. Ensure that the project complies with HSE legislation and site requirements. Responsible for monitoring and assessing safety performance on site and as support the Safety Culture.

- You will give HSE support and advice during the construction of an offshore windfarm construction project during the commissioning fase (2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation).
- You are responsible for ensuring the HSE Standards are implemented and complied with.
- Support the HSE Manager in the project with reviews of HSE Documentation (transport, logistics, subcontractors, etc).
- Support of the offshore HSE plan and make sure that all persons working on the companies scope are informed and understand the HSE plan.
- Participate in the continuous development and improvement of Safety Performance and in sub-contractor evaluations.
- Collect and report information of near misses and accidents. Ensure all HSE incidents are reported, investigated, corrective actions allocated and managed.
- Complete weekly and monthly inspections as well as any
additional ad-hoc inspections required by project or customer.
- Contribute to internal and external audits and assessments and HSE/site evaluations

Your qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of HSE (operational, legislation and standards) within Offshore Renewables.
- Good communication/people skills and able to write/speak English fluently.
· Advanced technical understanding of Wind Turbine products and Offshore Renewables technologies generally
- A Professional (recognized) HSE qualification (minimum MVK)
- 2-5 years relevant HSE experience essential within Offshore Renewable
- Experience in Construction, Design and Management projects.
- Good organizational skills to create order in a fast-changing working environment. You are able to maintain focus on the essentials, prioritize and keep a track of things.
- Proven experience of performing site inspections in a construction environment
