Brief Description:
• Primarily designing and developing hydraulic systems, you will take projects from initial design specifications, having responsibility for new circuit design of custom hydraulic circuits and ensuring that they are perfectly matched to applications.
• The designs will involve the selection of both fixed and variable displacement pumps, and specification of motors and valves to suit each application. You will be familiar with hydraulic reservoir design, using both AC and DC mounted pump motors. You will be able to calculate circuit performance and create a cost effective solution.
• 7-10 years experience in Hydraulics modeling.
• Extensive knowledge of hydrological and hydrodynamic modeling tools used in flood forecasting.
• Software knowledge required - Master planning, Sewergems and WaterGems
• Proven experience in setting up models for flood forecasting in large river basin.
• Experience in integrating flood forecast, inundation and early warning system with others information systems/ databases.
• Should have working experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Calibrate the models so far as possible against available flow and pressure data; and
• Liaise with the Urban Water Supply Specialists to input the model into the Water Supply and wastewater master plan and required capital development program.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
