RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Instrumentation degree, or certification preferred
- 4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferred
- Solid instrumentation skills
- Experience with PLC Programming experience - Delta V is preferred
- Honeywell experience
- Distributed control system (DCS) experience required
- Installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) required
- Mechanical aptitude and experience
- Experience working with 480v and below
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
- Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)
- Team player willing to assist where needed
- Ability to prioritize work
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of time
