SUMMARY:

Perform sales support functions for sales team including preparing quotations, performing project take offs, creating approval drawings, assisting in pre work to release orders and sales support tasks for the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Provide sales support for all Regional and Vertical Segment Sales Managers and distributors.
  • Create quotes and manage the follow up of open opportunities in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system.
  • Perform effective online demos to distributors as part of the quotation process.
  • Assist the sales team in creating professional quotes for National Accounts, Distributors and Contractors
  • Forecast sales and orders in conjunction with input from the outside sales team.
  • Support Regional Business Managers in their specific territories and distributors with segment-specific penetration strategies.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from, existing customer end user lists, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, newspapers, and other sources.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads via the website, internet, and inbound phone call, provide initial follow up on these leads and document all aspects of the lead follow up process in the CRM.
  • Perform outbound cold calls and emails to target customers.
  • Enter new customer data and other sales contact data for current and potential customers into the computer database.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributors.
  • Assist in covering day-to-day activities in any open territories as needed by management. 
  • Perform post shipment/installation follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferred
  • 3+ years of Inside Sales or Project Management experience preferred
  • A strong desire to exceed customer expectations as it relates to customer service.
  • Superior communication skills are required. 
  • Ability to work after hours on occasion to satisfy customer needs.
  • Must be proficient in the use of PC computers and Microsoft Office products.
  • Creativity and a strong sense of willingness to present innovative ideas to management.
  • Knowledge of selling skills, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Skills in time management, communication, and organization.
  • Ability to make effective presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and have the confidence to make decisions.
  • Ability to maintain customer database.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret specifications and prepare quotations.
  • Travel up to 10% +.
