TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineering Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Lead the development and implementation of engineering execution strategies aligned with global standards.
• Provide expert guidance on scope definition, design criteria, and technical specifications.
• Oversee project planning activities including cost estimation, scheduling, and resource forecasting.
• Monitor key material quantities and provide analytical insights to support project decisions.
• Lead cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
• Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables like P&IDs and datasheets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technical deliverables.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and participate in industry forums or technical societies.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional registration preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in engineering and project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of engineering codes, standards, and material specifications.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in effort-hour estimation and workforce planning.
• Proficient in project controls, reporting tools, and engineering software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
