W are looking for an experienced Lead Cost Engineer who is comfortable working at a Senior level and managing others in the team. You will be responsible for helping to set up processes and procedures.
As Lead Cost Engineer you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Develop and implement a project controls plan
Plan and organize the setup of project baseline
Develop cost, schedule, and commercial baseline
Providing technical and administrative direction, coordination
Working as a Lead with a team of Cost and Project Controls specialists
Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan
Manage the review of Project Profit/Risk Analysis with management
Lead the proposal efforts for cost/scheduling activities
Coordinate internal and external audits
The successful candidate will be an experienced Cost Engineer who is used to working as a Lead Cost Engineer on a project. A Cost Engineering or Quantity Surveying background is preferred.
It is essential that you have worked on heavy industry projects in either Mining, Energy, Infrastructure or Construction.
This role is based in the North of England so please only apply if you are happy to work in this location. UK working rights are essential.
