About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our esteemed clients team based in Perth. This position is based on a permanent Monday to Friday roster.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for diverse projects

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to determine pricing and resources

• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labour, materials, and subcontractors

• Contribute to tender strategies, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives

• Negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing for best-value outcomes

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and constructability

• Mentor and support junior estimators, promoting best practices

Skills and experience required

• Minimum 5+ years in electrical estimating, ideally in manufacturing or construction

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, switchboards, and modular switchrooms

• Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
