TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Planner/Scheduler role to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This is a one-year temporary contracted position with possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop variance analysis reports and perform advanced schedule analysis, including what-if scenarios
• Develop integrated EPC schedules
• Review schedule delays and develop schedule recovery alternatives. Present them to internal groups and client
• Propose mitigation plans to project management team by analyzing schedule variances
• Actively collect and seek for feedbacks from project stakeholders by collaborating closely with them
• Perform other duties as required
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related fields
• Minimum 10 – 15 years of direct/related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have EPC project background. Mining, oil & gas, or combination of mining & oil & gas background
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, internal groups, and PM team
• Must have previous experience working in similar senior or lead positions on a large mining or heavy industrial project
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Working knowledge and experience with the use of automated schedule management systems
