About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our esteemed clients team based in Perth. This position is based on a permanent Monday to Friday full-time roster.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and submit tenders on time to meet deadlines.

• Ensure accurate costing for labour, materials, subcontractors, and indirect resources.

• Compile technical clarifications, basis of estimate documents, and tender schedules for electrical works.

• Review design and construction documents, analyse specifications, and identify risks and opportunities.

• Attend site visits and client meetings as required.

• Source and evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotations.

• Recommend cost-saving options and prepare work method statements aligned with client criteria.

• Maintain accurate tender notes and provide clear handover to project teams.

Skills and experience required

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Electrical Estimator, ideally in mining or construction.

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; MS Project desirable.

• Ability to prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and interpret drawings/specifications.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
