TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Project Planner role to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and lead project planning efforts, ensuring alignment with project execution strategies.
- Provide direct supervision to project planners assigned to each project.
- Responsible for the establishment of project WBS and project coding structures.
- Analyze schedule variances, develop variance report, and propose strategies to mitigate variances and risks.
- Manage and maintain project schedule, actively communicate with other project teams and leadership groups.
- Stay updated on automated scheduling management systems, participate in audits, and provide recommendations for existing problems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in related fields
- Must have experience in Multi-Billion Dollar project as Senior or Lead Planner
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of direct/related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have EPC project background.
- Mining & Metal experience required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, internal groups, and PM team
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6, SAP, and MS Project
- Working knowledge and experience with the use of automated schedule management systems
