Lead Quality Field Inspector

Our client is a major player in the infrastructure construction industry and are seeking a Lead Quality Field Inspector to join their team in Windsor, ON. In this role you will report directly to the Quality Manager and be well-versed in industry standards, specifications, and fabrication procedures for inspection purposes.

Key Job Duties:
• Conduct inspections and tests as per the approved ITP’s and generate the corresponding quality documentation.
• Ensure that test equipment is properly calibrated and well-maintained in accordance with the Construction Quality Management Plan.
• Review test reports and quality records.
• Detect and report and non-compliant construction work or supplied products, and subsequently review the resolution of non-compliance issues.
• Manage the subsequent delivery, installation, or use of any non-compliant construction work or supplied product until the unsatisfactory conditions are rectified.

Key Qualifications:
• 3-5 year’s related experience
• Experience in Civil Construction Quality Assurance and Quality Control Inspection
• Experience with testing and related activities to units such as earthworks, concrete, formwork, post tensioning, pre-cast concrete structural elements, paving, grouting, structural welding, building installations, Electrical/Instrumentation/HVAC or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects.
