Lead Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review cost estimates, project schedules, and progress reports, including workforce forecasts
• Establish, track, and monitor key material quantities; provide detailed analyses and forecasts
• Develop and review technical specifications, including design criteria
• Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities related to equipment and materials
• Perform and verify complex engineering calculations and resolve advanced technical challenges
• Support project change management processes
• Contribute to team development through mentoring, training material preparation, conducting seminars, and providing performance feedback

Required Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in structural engineering and ten (10) years of work-related experience
• Strong communication skills across diverse audiences
• Knowledge of applicable local, regional, and national regulations, including Danish Building Regulations
• High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Advanced knowledge of discipline-specific codes and standards, material availability, and cost considerations
• Experience in effort-hour estimating and workforce planning
• Proven ability to manage and lead large-scale projects
• Experience in project initiation, schedule development, progress tracking, and close-out
• English Language is mandatory and Danish is preferred.
• Experience in Advanced Technology & Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotechnology, Data Centres, Batteries, Semi-Conductors)
• Professional engineering registration in Denmark (Preferred)
• Work permit in EU
