Our international client is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to join a prominent global firm in the oil and gas sector for the Mozambique LNG, based in Afungi, Mozambique (remote location). Don’t miss this opportunity to become part of an innovative and dynamic industry today!
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture, clean and structure vessel operational data (FT/hr, lifts/hr, crane cycles, idle time).
- Maintain vessel activity logs, packing lists and master cargo tracking registers.
- Prepare Daily Vessel Operation Reports (DOR).
- Develop Power BI dashboards for vessel progress, delays and productivity.
- Generate Vessel Completion Reports (VCR) for management review.
- Provide real-time reporting to Ops, Marine & Material Management teams.
- Consolidate shipping manifests, packing lists and vessel statements into structured datasets.
- Prepare visual KPI summaries and dashboards for decision-making.
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot, dashboards, automation).
- Power BI / DAX analytics and visualization (Advanced).
- Understanding of port logistics, vessel discharge and equipment flows (Basic–Intermediate).
- Power BI Vessel/offloading Performance Dashboard.
- Vessel Completion Report (VCR).
- Cargo Master Movement Sheet.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma Data Analytics with logistics experience advantageous.
- Minimum of (5) Five years of relevant experience in industrial logistics, with EPC/LNG project experience preferred.
- Experience in marine logistics/port environments is a plus.
- English required; Portuguese advantageous.
