About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Logistics Lead to join our esteemed clients team based in Perth. This position is based on Monday to Friday, full time roster.

Duties and responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute end-to-end logistics activities in compliance with INCOTERMS and import/export regulations

• Develop logistics strategies and transportation plans across ocean, air, and land, including vessel and aircraft chartering

• Prepare and manage logistics scopes of work, contracts, budgets, and schedules

• Coordinate customs clearance processes and ensure regulatory and procedural compliance

• Manage complex logistics operations, resolving issues and risks to meet cost and schedule objectives

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver logistics services safely and efficiently

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and sustainability policies

Skills and experience required

• 5-10+ years’ experience in logistics management for large/complex projects

• Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, import/export regulations, and customs clearance processes

• Proven experience developing and executing logistics strategies, plans, and budgets

• Experience managing multiple transportation modes including sea, air, and land

• Ability to manage logistics contractors, freight forwarders, and service providers

• Strong problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
