"Offshore Machinist L2 experience on Drill Ships / Floaters/ Semi-Sub and Mechanical Turner, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our International Client's project team Onboard SCARABEO 9 based Offshore ANGOLA."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Execute work tasks by machining as directed by 2nd Engineer, Vessel Equipment Engineer and Welder Foreman.
• Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling tools, to produce custom objects from steel pieces, according to specified tolerances.
• Where available, operate computer numerical control machining according to his/her own capabilities.
• Execute repairs with regard to mechanical equipment used in the machine shops.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the machine shop.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Diploma qualification / equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
• Must have at least 2 years minimum experience in relevant position within Oil and Gas Industry.
• Mechanic drawings assemblies reading and draftman skill.
• Conventional Lathe machine (not CNC) operator.
• Conventional Milling machine (not CNC) operator.
• Advanced mechanic fitter skills.
• Various professional and training certificates
• Work employment certificates
• BOSIET / H2S (Mandatory)
