Maintenance Technician

We're hiring!
TRS is looking to hire *4* Maintenance Technicians for numerous openings with one of our Anderson, SC manufacturing clients!
Duration: Full Time/Direct Hire
Location: Anderson, South Carolina
Compensation: $25-28/hr
Shifts:
1st (7a - 3p) 1 need
2nd (3p - 11p) 1 need
3rd (11p - 7a) 2 needs

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical and/or mechanical repairs and inspections as required to ensure equipment runs reliably in production.
• Install new machinery, overhaul equipment, and rebuild and fabricate parts as required.
• Consistently maintain company safety and cleanliness standards in the production environment.
• Assist maintenance personnel with plant maintenance as needed.
• Liaise with outside contractors as necessary.
• Training, instruction, and supervision of apprentices including carrying out reviews of Apprentice performance, ensuring that Apprentices get experience in all aspects of their trade.
• As assigned by the supervisor or manager, must be licensed, and certified to drive a forklift

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with CNC machines, Mills, Lathes, Welding, etc.
• Strong teamwork and mechanical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
