The role will see you be responsible for managing the Marine Package consisting of the following scopes:
• All offshore pre-construction site investigation survey works,
• Foundation design, fabrication and installation
• Inter Array (IA) Cable design, fabrication and installation
• Offshore Platform (OSP) and Jacket Installation
The Package Manager is primarily responsible for:
• Managing the FEED and Detailed Design for the WTG foundation and inter array cable scopes,
• Delivery of all offshore site investigation surveys required during the Development and Refinement phases of the project,
• Developing, managing and coordinating the main contracts tender process with Tier 1 manufacturing and installation contractors
Key Accountabilities:
• Management of health and safety on the Package and assurance of the Health and Safety plans and performance of the Package Contractors.
• Establish, lead and manage effective project organisation and well functioning project team. Secure necessary resources and competencies.
• Manage project time, cost budgets, quality, risks, interfaces, stakeholders and documentation as well as other PMI competence areas.
• Act as the Client Representative with respect to multiple contracts, engaging with senior management of respective suppliers.
• Develop, communicate and implement the package direction and strategic goals
• Ensure all contracts are executed in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements including applicable codes, standards, specifications and procedures.
• Manage a multi-disciplinary Package team capable of delivering against the Project programme and Package Goals
• Manage, report on and drive mitigation of Package risks to ALARP
• Manage interfaces between designers and contractors and with other areas of the project
• Monitor activity against program and provide feedback and assistance to ensure project programme being met.
• Provide leadership for all personnel in the group to ensure the delivery of quality engineering services.
• Interface with department managers, project managers etc as appropriate
• Preparation of package inputs for Governance Documentation
