Mechanical Engineer - Associate Design Engineer II, Grade 15 (Alternatively Grade 16, dependent on availability of suitable candidates)

Job specific requirements/skills;
• Good working knowledge of materials processing equipment or plants.
• Basic working knowledge of materials handling design (conveyors/material transfer/storage) and/or pump and pumping system design.
• Project construction and/or commissioning experience preferred.
• Dynamic candidate with a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the Fluor engineering environment is an absolute requirement.

Required experience range;
• This is a junior engineering position, the candidate will work under the direct guidance of another mechanical engineer or a lead engineer.
• Minimum of 1 year work related experience - Industry Related.

Qualifications:
• 4 year Engineering Degree / National Higher Diploma / BTech Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Candidate Professional Registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is preferred
• Candidate Registration with Engineers Registration Board of Botswana (ERB) or eligible to obtain registration within 3 months after taking employment
