Client is looking for Mechanical Engineer
Industry: Mining
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- Working knowledge of piping and material handling systems.
- Ability to assess maintainability, reliability, operability, and constructability of mechanical systems.
- 8–12 years in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in mining or heavy industrial projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (master’s preferred).
- Key Skills: Mechanical design, vendor management, cost estimation, reliability analysis.
- Mining study experience including defining mechanical design criteria; specifying equipment; scoping, evaluating and managing service provider, vendor and contractor packages, and in particular SPM contracts; assessing the maintainability, reliability, operability and constructability of mechanical systems; coordinating, overseeing and developing site and plant layouts, trade-off studies and cost estimates, have a working knowledge of piping and material handling systems.
- Responsible for mechanical design in mining studies, including defining design criteria, specifying equipment, and managing vendor and contractor packages (including SPM contracts). Oversees site and plant layouts, trade-off studies, and cost estimates.
