New Build Proposal Manager

TRS Middle East is working with a company in Saudi Arabia and are looking for a New Build Proposal Manager.

Job role:
- Preparation of Cost Estimates for New Build Proposals
- Monitor labour rates and Overhead recovery within the company
- Preparation of Price Build up for New Build Proposals
- Estimation of Risks and allocation of costs to mitigate such risks in proposal stage
*Proposal Management
- Develop and implement new business proposal strategies for achieving New Build Objectives of the Ship Building
Department in liaison with Business Development and Marketing Department.
- Lead and manage the overall proposal development process from Pre-Proposal Phase through Post-Proposal Phase
- Plan and manage priority/strategic proposals as assigned
- Drive bidding strategy through the Bid-No-Bid decision
*People Management
- Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the assigned section by setting of
individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff to maximise sectional performance.
- Perform people management functions by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching,
counseling, and disciplining employees in order to achieve the company’s HR objectives.

Requirements:
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Shipbuilding Programs
- Education – College Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering or related specialisation
