Pay: $60k-$65k+ (relocation assistance available!)
Summary:
The Office Engineer will assist the Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager in completing the electrical components and CAPEX projects/installations for a large-scale $2 billion greenfield industrial construction project. The scope of this project will include electrical work for the main manufacturing buildings, supporting office buildings, and other on-site facilities.
Job Duties:
• Ensure that project schedule is organized and clearly communicated to all team members.
• Monitor changes to project budget and track them accordingly.
• Maintain project documentation and paperwork such as RFI’s, change orders, etc. in a well-organized manner.
• Manage adherence to health, safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster effective communication with all stakeholders to report project status.
• Report regularly on project financials.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
• Develop and improve client relationships.
• Conduct risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Previous internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering is strongly preferred.
• Must display strong comprehension of electrical engineering principles.
• Must be a team-player and demonstrate the ability to work well with others and willing take on challenges and new responsibilities.
