LOCATION: CAIRO, EGYPT
DURATION: CONTRACT (2 Months)

"TRS has an urgent international opportunity for an experienced European national Offshore Rigger, must be immediately available to join Client's project team on board of Normand Maximus Vessel to be mobilized in Cairo, Egypt.”
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carries out rigging activities in line with instructions given by own Deck Foreman / Rigging Foreman and in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Performs rigging works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• If certified to do so, carries out the construction of scaffolding structures in accordance with the instruction given by the supervisor.
• If certified to do so, drives the forklift.
• Follows daily instructions given by the Deck Foreman or Rigging Foreman.
• Ensures rigging works are carried out according to the applicable rigging standards and best practices.
• Verifies that the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions and reports any anomalies to the Deck/Rigging Foreman.
• Ensures coordination with the adjacent works to minimize co-activity and avoids unsafe conditions.
• Follows the Permit-to-Work procedure.
• Ensures the housekeeping of the work location.
• During offshore or marine-related activities, assists the marine department during mooring operations as required.
• Reports to the Rigging Foreman or the Deck Foreman.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Only immediately available applicants will be considered due to the nature of the project and the applicant to be mobilized immediately.
• Valid OPITO approved BOSIET.
• Various professional and training certificates.
• Work employment certificates.
• Valid medical certificate (if any).
• Minimum eight (8) plus years work experience in required field.
• Must have knowledge of Rigging and lifting equipment and Operations.
• Must have knowledge of Offshore Lifting methodologies and ops.
• Must have knowledge of Radio and visual signals communication.
• Must have knowledge of HSE Work Practices.
• Must have knowledge of Anchor handling ops.
