Role description:
We are looking for an Electrical Package Engineer with extensive experience in mining, industrial and mineral processing projects.
Role Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and participating in the scoping, sequencing and creation of Work Packages.
• Align with procurement strategy ensuring consistency with the overall execution strategy
• Maintaining Work Package data in Company’s systems and updating as required.
• Providing support in creation and updating of the schedule, work front analysis, and 3-week lookahead.
• Attending progress meetings and maintaining effective interface as Client IPT, ESP and Sub-contractor stakeholders to ensure Work Packages and critical Work Packaging efforts are effectively delivered on the Project.
• Coordinating with management, procurement, project controls team, planners, other stakeholder of the project and ensure Work Packages are issued in a timely manner and as per the project priorities.
• Working with resident engineering, superintendents and construction team to facilitate planning discussions for each construction work area.
• Coordinating with procurement and engineering to allocate bulk materials, equipment, drawings and data to respective Work Packages.
• Validating Work Package sequencing aligns with logistics, construction execution, testing and startup priorities.
• Coordinating Sub-contractor inputs and Work Package development and review proposed Work Package.
• Design and develop innovative packaging solutions to meet project requirements
• Interface with operation readiness teams to ensure optimal handover performance and quality of packages
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless project delivery
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the packaging industry
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve existing packaging designs and processes
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 6-9 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Package Engineer or in a similar role
