The Ideal Candidate will have
• A College diploma or university degree
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Advance proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• PCP Certification is preferred
• French-speaking is also an asset
• The ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
• High level of attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Responsibilities:
• Process, manage and track employee leaves and employee changes
• Process terminations and work on last pay calculations
• Track new hires for each payroll period, check all documents, input information into the system and set up new hires
• Validate payroll data, check new hires pay and benefits on payroll register and calculations
• Audit Time and Attendance for accuracy, work permits, and all earnings, deductions and contributions
• Calculate and recalculate (if needed) taxable benefits and update them in payroll
• Request and reconcile project mileage
• Conduct comprehensive review, analysis and balancing of payroll data
• Update employee and dependent/beneficiary benefits information on the benefits provider’s platform and in our payroll system and make payroll changes; terminated employees
• Serve as a point of contact for all payroll updates and issues
• Run various reports (regular and ad hoc)
• Perform other related duties as required
