Principal Design Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities:
• Serve as Supervising Lead providing guidance/supervision to other leads and function as mentor to less experienced engineers
• Develop and review Auxiliary Systems design/build execution scopes of work, including Fire Detection, IT/Telecom, Security, Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and CCTV.
• Participate in activities associated with Auxiliary Systems design and equipment and material procurement subcontracts and oversee design process and documentation to ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution.

Requirements:
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience

Preferred:
• Professional Engineer license
• Advanced knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and other Electrical codes and standards
• Project set-up, developing control-level schedules, progress reporting and project close-out
