TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting long-term opportunity for Procurement Manager role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all procurement management development activities including quotation requests, negotiation, change management, project execution and close-out etc.
- Perform evaluations, claim reviews, and negotiation
- Manage and oversee procurement management processes in accordance with PPM and PEP
- Supervise and lead all aspects of procurement management activities including material planning, purchasing, logistics etc.
- Support bid evaluation plans
- Responsible for interface management including project controls, contracts, construction, finance, HSE etc.
- Prepare, issue, and present all relevant reports
- Perform other duties as assigned/required
Key Requirements:
- At least 15 years of related procurement management experience in the large-sized EPCM projects
- Technical knowledge associated with procurement management processes
- Prior experience in the home office and field work
- Experience in Mining is required
- Experiencing leading procurement managements activities in large-sized EPCM projects is an asset
- An effective communicator
