Procurement Manager

Our client is seeking a detail oriented Procurement Manager to join their team in Kansas City, Kansas. This person will be responsible for the centralized procurement of commodities through the development and implementation of commodity strategy plans and the management of supplier relationships.

Fully on-site position with flexible start and end times as needed.

Qualifications
•Bachelors or MBA in finance, business, or related field preferred but not required.
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement, engineering, or supply chain management.
•Heavy/Civil Construction industry experience preferred.
•Time management and organizational skills
•Leadership and supervisory skills.
•Knowledge of current market and cost drivers.
•Strong negotiation skills.
