"TRS has an exciting opportunity for a junior Procurement Manager to join our international client's team on their Onshore LNG project based in Mozambique."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure the coordination of relevant functions within the operating companies and efficiency of the procurement process to satisfy business and individual project needs.
- Create added value for project execution through consistent enrichment of Vendor Lists in line with the ethic code.
- Optimize client's procurement capabilities, promote and maintain good relationships with Vendors.
- Promote the diffusion of policies, standards, guidelines and work instructions within the Procurement function
- Ensure that global and strategic sourcing activities support the projects.
- Facilitate access to new markets and support project execution in order to maximize savings.
- Ensure professional training and development plans.
- Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics and the relevant Internal Control System.
- Contribute to risk management related to procurement activities.
- Ensure management of client's procurement processes related to materials, services and subcontracts, optimising costs and delivery requirements.
- Ensure the definition of the necessary preliminary agreements with vendors during the commercial phase.
- Ensure the coordination of vendor evaluation and qualification processes.
- Overview the availability of the procurement resources and the optimization of their allocation.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
- BSc./BTech degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
- 12+ years recent relevant work experience with Onshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Supply Chain and Prourement software packages required.
