Product Specialist

Our client, a company specializing in fabrication, maintenance and turnaround with locations throughout Canada in the Oil & Gas, Forestry, Petrochemical, and Mining sectors, is currently looking for a Product Specialist to join their team in Edmonton / Fort McMurray.

The ideal candidate will have extensive background in site coordination and team execution, material preparation and be required to perform Business Development tasks. The candidate would be conducting market research, identifying opportunities for projects, working with stakeholders, and assisting with welding and fabrications strategies for plate, structural and wear products.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of direct experience in material preparation / weld overlay
• 3+ years of experience in Business Development, which includes client relations, marketing and sale tasks.
• Post-secondary degree in Engineering or Metallurgy
• Extensive exposure with sales and customers
• Computer skills (Excel, Word, Project Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Exceptional communication skills (both internal and external counterparts)
