Project Contols Specialist

TRS Staffing is hiring a Project Controls Specialist on behalf of one of our clients - a Canadian mining company with global operations. You will be involved in a major transformation project that will digitalize/automate our client’s operational mines and process facilities. This is a permanent full-time position based out of Vancouver, BC.

Key Details:

• You will apply your skills in assisting the Project Controls Group
• Cost controls, estimating, scheduling and change management
• Prepare cost management plans
• Assist the group in setting up Project Controls for the overall program delivery
• Project Budget
• Participating in project reporting (cost status reports, cost trending, cost analysis…)
• Assist with scheduling and planning
• 5-10 years of Project Controls experience
• Ideally you have worked within Programs/Portfolios
• Experience with Digital technology projects would be an asset
• Experience working on projects that have utilized Agile methodology and delivery
• Excel, Primavera, and Prism
• Strong communication skills.
