Project Coordinator

Our client, a leading Transportation Contractor, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will have previous experience assisting with the development and maintenance of the project schedule. Along with this, they must have experience with maintaining and updating documentation as well as controlling drawings, drawing records and revisions.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a cost reporting system with the Project Manager for various project components, including: excavation, backfill, and formwork, etc. They will also assist with preparing invoices and progress reports as well as engage in estimation work.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or related education in Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in a construction environment
- Must have experience with Primavera P6, project coordination and scheduling
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
