POSITION DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Position specific responsibilities and requirements:
Project engineer responsible for
- Support procurement activities with regards to the scope, schedule, budget and contractual aspects of indigenous packages.
- Support the technical reviews and evaluations for all indigenous packages.
- Identify the requirements for engineering input into specific indigenous packages.
- Monitor vendor progress and report on assigned area of work.
- Scope control and trending of scope changes as needed.
- Setting dates for engineering deliverables needed for the assigned area and indigenous packages.
- Support TQ process for all respective procurement packages, including coordinating responses to all ESP initiated TQs.
- Liaise with other PE’s where there is a common procurement package across one or more areas to ensure alignment.
- Support procurement with material status reporting and expediting vendors.
- Support in the development of contract SOWs.
-Support in the development of pre contract award deliverables.
- Assist in development control of the schedule for their nominated area.
- Support in the mobilisation of vendors.
Position required competencies and skills:

- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team
Position required qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical)
Position desired experience, competencies and qualifications:
- 5+ year project/package engineering experience
- Field experience desire
