Project Manager – Highway and Earthworks – Lithium Project

We are partnering with one of the most interesting engineering projects in WA right now. Being part of the solution to a clean energy future is the goal with initial production to begin late 2024.

We are now at the stage where we need someone to take us to the next level and bring in fresh ideas whilst utilising the global expertise of Fluor to manage the many moving parts and passionate internal and external stakeholders.

• You will be taking on the leadership of 9 direct reports with the project delivery of a $200 million 113Km road upgrade.
• You will be the critical interface between the owner, site operations, construction contractor and the local shire.
• Your day will be a mix of all the usual challenges from ensuring everyone is on track and aligned in regards to accommodation, construction water, flights, diesel to the contractor, management of monthly payment, variations and claims…..but nothing you can’t handle.
• You will be the go-to person when dealing with the local shire and community, relying on your communication and problem solving skills to ensure everyone is listened to and looked after.
• You will also thrive on the weekly progress performance updates and highlighting how your team are delivering a high standard of quality, cost efficiency, meeting milestones and most importantly ensuring everyone goes home safe.

• Bachelor of Engineering (civil).
• Experience in bulk earth works and highway projects (>$100 million) a major tick the box.
• Experience of project delivery working under Main Roads specifications.
• Experience interfacing with local shires.
• A mindset that seeks solutions to some of the world’s biggest engineering projects.
