Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily project progress and record job costs.
- Secure contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Attend pre-construction meetings with clients and ensure necessary staff and subcontractors are present.
- Conduct internal project meetings to finalize schedules and make necessary adjustments.
- Direct and manage project activities to meet objectives for quality, safety, production, and profitability.
- Obtain critical project documents such as permits, submittals, and insurance requirements.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to ensure profitability and maintain client relationships.
- Coordinate staffing for key field positions through department heads or subordinate managers.
- Support and promote the company's commitment to safety and core values.
- Oversee project management systems, tools, and personnel from initiation to final payment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or industrial sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Management position.
- Rail experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
