Job Title: Project Manager – Solar Projects

Location: Patiala
Employment Type: Full-time


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee solar power projects in Patiala. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor solar project installations from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities for approvals and documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management.
  • Drive risk management and implement corrective actions when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
  • Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Familiarity with government policies and subsidies related to solar energy.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
