“TRS is urgently looking for a Project Manager with strong technical background able to support in the FEL phases of the ecoFT projects within Oil & Gas Industry to join our leading client’s project team based at Sasol, SECUNDA.”

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leading the P&E Solutions project support team for ecoFT equity participation projects.
• Developing and agreeing P&E project support plans with Sasol assurance teams.
• Aligning plans and quality requirements with equity partners.
• Coordinating all Sasol internal project activities from gate 1 to gate 4.
• Overseeing project execution by others.
• Custodian and driver of continuous improvement of the Sasol know-how for executing ecoFT projects.
• Leveraging lessons learnt and international best practices to provide input and optimization of project execution plans and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry.
• Strong technical background able to support in the FEL phases of the ecoFT projects with inputs related to inter alia site selection, typical project schedules and cost estimates, and construction related issues.
• Able to engage with multiple partners following various project methodologies and interface the methodologies back into the Sasol BD&I process.
• Petrochemical capital projects (green fields development), with knowledge in the disciplines of Engineering Management and Project Management across full project life cycle and particular in front end loading.
