TRS Staffing have a fantastic opportunity or a Project Operations Engineer for a global offshore wind partner.
The role will see you support the execution of a large complex offshore wind project therefore it will be mainly site based around differing European locations including Spain, The Netherlands, Greece and the UK.
The Role
- Ensuring that the offshore spreads are prepared and ready for offshore operations, with a particular attention to Certification, Bridging documentation, SIMOPS, & Safety Assurance Process.
- Ensuring that the installation spreads have full support, in terms of Logistic, Transportation, Safety, & Certification etc.
- Responsible for load-in and load-out activities at the fabrication site, cable supplier, and marshalling yards.
- Review the Load-in and Load-out procedures established by the project’s Engineering.
- Assist Project Engineers, Field Engineers for vessel readiness, & mobilization activities. Ensures project equipment is mobilized in an efficient and timely fashion.
- Issue Management of Change (MOC), Technical Queries, progress reports, safety observations etc… as required during operations.
- Liaise with Customer in-country, with regards to all certification, assets preparation process & Logistic support.
- Ensure that all aspects of project Safety, Health & Quality are implemented on each of the Onshore work sites under his responsibility and report to Project’s HSE organization as necessary.
Your Profile
- Preferred minimum of 5 years’ experience in offshore construction including shallow waters
- Experience in offshore construction projects, in particular Logistic Supports, Mobilization, Field Engineering or similar
- Skilled in co-ordination of support Services, subcontractors etc
- Fluent in English
- Skilled for planning development with Microsoft Project
