Project Risk Management and Insurance Coordinator

Our client is a major player in the infrastructure construction industry and are seeking a Project Risk Management and Insurance Coordinator to join their team in Windsor, Ontario. Reporting to the Business Services Director, you will support the coordination and progression of the project while monitoring any insurance related concerns to the construction and design of the project.

Key Job Duties:
• Managing insurance-related project policies, procedures, and processes
• Resolving and settling claims
• Receive and manage any third-party claims
• Answer any information requests from adjusters, insurers, and any legal counsel
• Tracking and reporting on the status for all design related insurable claims

Key Qualifications:
• Able to recognize mitigation and risk management for a major construction project
• Ability to understand the insurance context within a major construction project
• Managing insurance policies, bonds, and indemnities experience is required
• Experience with insurance terminology is preferred
• Must be organized and detail-oriented with good verbal communication skills
