- Ensure performance and track progress on all proposals, keeping senior management updated on progress
- Ensure each proposal has clear and accurate information in response to the customer requirements
- Understand the complex requests for proposals, quotations and invitations
- Manage and organise all parts of the proposal process working with other departments of the business
- Anticipate and communicate potential risks after analysing requests
- Ensure compliance
- Draft and prepare presentations
- Provide leadership and guidance to internal team members
- At least 10 years of recent experience in the Shipbuilding industry
- Previous experience in a commercial role working on proposals/tenders
- High level of understanding with complex tenders
- Naval Shipbuilding industry experience
- Proposal winning track record
- Middle East experience would be advantageous
